Archiving is a high performance server based archiving solution, ideal for archiving user's mail files. Archiving is a multithreaded program that will archive and purge notes documents based on the criteria you specify. Archive databases may be built from any template you specify and folder structures are maintained. Notes Administrators control the process end-to-end.
The archive criteria is controlled from a profile document, where you may enter a simple Notes @formula to determine what to archive and additionally what to purge from the archive. This gives you great power to control EXACTLY what is archived. The software is highly configurable, an archive server to run against your production mail server or run the process on a dedicated machine processing mail on remote Domino servers. A full audit trail of documents archived is maintained for easy retrieval of archived data.
The archiving application uses a global profile and optionally create any number of custom profiles for those 'special cases' where the standard archiving rules do not apply.
